   BACKGROUND

For more than 20 years, VERT SERVICE has operated in Battice in the heart of the three-border region (Netherlands, Germany, Belgium). Guy Teney, the current Managing Director, used his experience of mechanical farming and gardening to create the company to provide the area with sales, repairs and rental of garden equipment.
     
 

In no time, the company earned a reputation for competence and conscientiousness that it has never lost.  The name itself, Vert Service, shows Guy Teney’s preference for a service-oriented corporate culture emphasizing attentiveness to the client and the market.

Alphonse Teney, Guy’s brother and a director of the company, joined on to develop the export market, contributing his language skills and his experience in international trade to satisfy new needs of the local, regional and international clientele.  This additional activity meant hiring new employees in the administrative, sales and technical departments.  And modernizing the premises.

In 2000, the export market share increased to the point that creating Minitrac Ltd in Shefford (United Kingdom) became a must.

The first Internet sites: www.vertservice.net and www.minitrac.co.uk naturally followed. 

Vert Service has just celebrated 20 years of successful growth, and is not about to stop here.  We continue to investigate markets to find the most effective products at the lowest prices, and to provide the closest, most modern service to satisfy the increasingly demanding requirements of our clientele.
     
PRODUCTS

VERT SERVICE’s activities particularly focus on :

  • Compact tractors refurbished by our professional workshop before being put on the market at an extremely advantageous price.  All our used compact tractors are covered by a guarantee of up to one year!
  • A range of more than 1000 references of spare parts for compact tractors
  • A range of more than 80 new accessories for compact tractors and quads.

Vert Service has published a brochure of its articles that professionals consider to be the European Bible in the sector. Most dealers have also book-marked the  Vert Service Internet site as a favourite.

Vert Service continues to diversify its contacts and develop its management methods to ensure sustainability of the company and the jobs it represents.

- diversification :

  • Clients’ are understandably more and more concerned about security. So  the company naturally proposes a rollover bar for compact tractors (certified by the French Ministry of Agriculture and Fishing and by the CEMAGREF).

- management methods :

  • to integrate new technologies in management, Vert Service has created an on-line store in 2005 ( www.yenibiz.com) that provides spare parts for all professional and private Internet users.  This is the only site that offers such a broad range of parts, and it does so in six languages.

- contacts :

  • Vert Service systematically takes part in the best known trade fairs in Europe, and for more than 10 years, it has been the partner of two dealer purchasing groups in the sector, one for France  (France Espaces Verts – www.france-espaces-verts.com ) and one for Germany (I.R.M.S. – www.irms.de)
  • As a member of CCI (www.ccilv.be ), DEBELUX (www.debelux.org ), BUFAMOT(www.bufamot.de ), FEDERAUTO(www.federauto.be ), Vert Service has won its place in a particularly professional and competitive sector.
